TR6, Pimento red. CR version Wonderful patina with negligible age related marks. Continuously kept under cover and never used in the rain. The owner purchased a new set of 1/12 inch SU's to fit and has kept the set of Lucas fuel injection if preferred. Lovely well kept chrome wire wheels, with original wheels still available. Doctor owned for the last thirteen years, and MOT' d continuously in that time. Strong sills with no visible rust and reflects the condition underneath. Small oil leak ( as they all do) from beneath engine, suspected over tightening of oil pan bolts. Small door clearance variations from top to bottom, as can be seen in the pictures. Bodywork clear of obvious rust, with straight lines and gleaming paintwork. Interior clean and in very good condition with door cards , sets and hood looking very tidy. There has been a new dash fitted at some point, and compliments the steering wheel very well. Overdrive with column change. The usual brake fluid spillage marks on surrounding paintwork blemishing what would otherwise be a very presentable engine bay. Stainless steel twin exhaust. Folder full of receipts and information. Very solid and beautiful looking car with MOT and well maintained to highest standard. £22000

Built on 15th February 1960, and originally exported to the USA, the car was re-imported in 1990 at which time a ten-year complete nut and bolt rebuild was started during which the car was converted to RHD and painted in Signal Red – it has covered only 8000 miles since. The engine is fitted with 87mm wet liners giving a capacity of 2138 cc engine and the drive train has the benefit of a 4 synchro gearbox with overdrive. We have photographs of the restoration and a large file consisting of MOTs and supporting invoices going back more than 30 years. The rear axle was replaced in 2011 and replacement brake drums and a new radiator were fitted in 2015. Electronic ignition and a Kenlowe fan are fitted. The car has alloy/minilite type wheels to which new tyres have very recently been fitted, stainless bumpers and exhaust and H4 headlights. The hood is like new, as is the full tonneau, and the side screens are excellent. The current MOT runs until March 2024; there were no advisories. The current owner is only the third since the rebuild and has owned the car for the past six years. The car is in excellent condition throughout, has been comprehensively maintained and is a pleasure to drive. £27500

Tony Dron former British racing driver and Editor of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars previously owned the car. He purchased a new Californian powder coated chassis and proceeded to have the car rebuilt with new Heritage panels live at the Essen classic motor show Germany. His intention was to build a first class TR6 whatever the cost and however long it took retaining as many of the original parts as possible. It comes complete with Heritage certificate, an extensive history file including numerous photographs showing the car pre Essen, the rebuild and the final outcome. The car comes with overdrive, wire wheels and a leather Mota-Lita steering wheel. It has been converted to electronic ignition, unleaded fuel and is fitted with a Bosch fuel pump. New shock absorbers back and front (rear Spax) have been fitted within the last 200 miles and 4 x new Pirelli tyres fitted June 2022. Wilwood 4 pot front brakes to give it that extra braking capacity at higher speeds. The manual engine fan was removed and a Kenlowe electronic fan fitted. Engine fan available for refitting if required. The car has only done 6700 miles in the last 15 years and has been used as a Summer car only. It is in outstanding condition inside and out, rust free and drives beautifully. 1969 makes it MoT and Tax exempt however it has been serviced annually. Lifted on the ramp and all relevant grease and oil points checked. If you are looking for a car that requires little work but just annual checks and TLC or even just as an investment then this is the one. £23000
